i don't think he mentioned anything about branches, freeflow or cone filter.
I could be wrong but from what i heard was that everything else is still stock. The chipping/remapping that he does himself and gave very strict instructions never to dyno it else its gonna mess up.
Maybe those power claims include a branch/zorst and cone filter.
But my motor is absolutly stock. even the branch and zorst, and got std filter. I cant recall him touching these parts.
I'm still in the dark here. Also on 94 models what was the compression?

@ Batman:
For a super hero your knowledge regarding modifying anything is rather limted....
Bro if you are going to spend R6000 for quite simply what is a full race spec cylinderhead why on God's green earth are you going to keep the branch and exhaust standard? Your motor will be breathing about 300% better and hence the exhaust side of things needs to be upgraded rather substantially!
I swear by a 38mm branch and a 50mm freeflow performance exhaust system on an AFE... Mr Repsold recommends a 44mm branch with a 57mm exhaust... once again this only really works with a high compression motor, ie: 20v
Each unto their own I guess
I not revert to the famous South Park Chewbakkah defense: "This just doesn't make sense..."

@ TwincamSTi:
Bro your AFE is putting out some nice power!
70kw at the wheels up on the Reef is about 82-84kw on the wheels down here at the coast! your torque figure down here would be about 148Nm on the wheels... Thats some solid power their brother!
If you have a free second please try and find out about the branch and the exhaust*
I have a Viper Branch and it is a beautiful piece of kit!

Not to go off the point of afe's, but is there a conversion that Dave can do to a 4age 16v as well?

All 4AFE'S came out with a 9.5:1 Compression Ratio...Even the 4AF'S...maybe Import 4AFE motors Compression Ratio's differed...must look into that one on the International Toyota Forums......
As you will also note that this is arather low Compression Ratio....The Citi Golf Life has a Compression Ratio of 10.5:1....Go figure.......

Hi there sportsfans,
Just to let you know that Dave is putting the price of the conversion up by the 1st of July, +- R8200.00. So for R6000.00 I think it's gonna be a bargain.
